Good day any Vodacom reps here that can help with a new contract issue please?
My daughter took out a new cellphone contract over the last weekend and was told the Sim would be activated in about 3 - 4 working days.
She phoned them yesterday (day 4) and they had no record of the application according to the Vodacom Helpdesk and she was told to go back the Bay West branch to reaply.
This sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, not to mention that we are about 90km from the shop.
The problem is that is the same thing happened to a friend and he waited two months for the Sim to be activated.
3 - 4 days already sounds like a long time to wait for a sim to be activated and now they could not even do that in their own time frame.
Can anybody please assist?
