Yeah, I know that this is reprehensible, but this was all entirely online - there are perpetrators who have committed horrendous physical abuse IRL who have received lesser sentences. Getting into the moral equivalence of crimes like this is a murky realm, but somehow it seems that this suggests that tricking teenage boys into whatsapping nudes is on the same level as physically raping 6 year old children??

They were black-mailed as well into sending more pics, and they were under-age. That's probably what tacked on several years to the sentence.
