Port CellC Pre-paid to Telkom Pre-Paid

Hi All

I have seen many threads but no straight answer - unless i missed it - I am on CellC Pay as you go and i want to try Telkom Pay as you go. I buy my phones outright to avoid contracts. I want to KEEP my number which i have had for 10 years - can i port it to Telkom without a contract?

Yes. Go to a Telkom shop or buy a prepaid Telkom SIM and port your number to them. The phone numbers are on the Telkom SIM. You will get an SMS on the CellC SIM, to which you need to reply withing 30min, and the port gets done in 48-hours.
