Port prepaid Vodacom number to CellC?

Is it possible for me to keep my 071* prepaid number should I wish to use the Cell C network instead of Vodacom?

If so, what do I have to do?

Now with this latest article about the iPhone personal Hotspot not working I am just a tad concerned that if I port to Cell C it might not work anymore. Should I be concerned?

Also anybody know if you can port numbers between networks more than once? If so, whats the time frame between ports? Say I move to Cell C and find it not working out for me, can I then switch back to Vodacom?

I don't have a iPhone, so I can't comment on that. Just remember that the iPhone 4 uses a Micro Sim card, or you can cut the regular sim card to size.

Yes you can, but only 1 port every 90 days.
