So my 4-port router was blown out by lightning which travelled through my telkom line.

I would like to know whether it will be possible to buy a single-port DSL router and connect it to my 2-port wireless access point, and then connect my PC to the second port on my wireless access point?

Basically, will my PC be able to access my connection to the net if my DSL router isn't connected directly to my PC, but is connected to my Access Point which is connected directly to my PC?

Im a student, and I will rather like to pay R200 for a single port router than paying R500 for a 4-port router

Ok.

As long as I specify the correct default gateway, I should be able to connect to the net?
