You are lucky.

All the PO's close to home and work have closed doors.

For both I have to drive far to dodge area with no parking and long queues.
Yep, the one near me recently closed...no warning...no notice...Just closed...Others have become pubs and I saw another local one going on aution soon?

Lets make space in the Big Book...

Rase based employment policies seems to work out well for the Post Office and its staff.

Does it cost R30 or is that the inflated balloon instalment?

Mine also works flawlessly, and I also see a good number of people on the on the other cashiers besides the license one, so I take it the normal business of the post office is still happening.
Try ordering something from abroad. You know, the primary mandate of the PO they are no longer able to fulfil.
