You all do realize why all dead SOE’s are kept alive with bailouts right?
Every single one of them are kept in place for one sole 2-Step purpose… 1. Bailout 2. Steal Bailout Money. This is the cycle that will keep playing out until there is nothing left and we all sit in the sun waiting for food parcels from the west. Might as well accept it and move on, or move out of ZA if you can.

I wonder if MyBB have templated these articles now?

The South African XXXXX wants a RXX billion bailout from government to cover its cash flow deficit and fund the implementation of its turnaround strategy

In addition, he stated that while the organisation had struggled over the past year, it was grateful for the cash injection of R650 million it received from the Presidency and the National Treasury.

Remind me what this Post Office thing is again, please.

It's the place where you can often get your vehicle license disk right then and there, vs these other services where you have to wait and that charges you an additional fee.

The taxpaying population of the country has a response...

"No, fsck off"
All the people paying value added TAX (aka VAT) at the shops are confused about your statement...

My money is on the post office being rescued and getting new management.

Can I get myself appointed as a consultant to tell them the Post Office should go? I will charge them R1mil for that. Sorry, I don't know the "right" people!

Nomkhita Mona, Group CEO of the South African Post Office, clearly deserves her salary package. She has done an amazing job so far.

implement its "Post Office of Tomorrow" strategy.

I actually went to find and read this. It's a load of waffle and wouldn't pass muster in the private sector. It may have been viable around 2005ish.

They publish things like the following but with no information on how they will mitigate:
