Postbank "glitch" that left pensioners in financial squeeze caused by software dispute

Postbank’s Board of Directors has been axed after a forensic investigation found that Postbank maintained contracts with suppliers unlawfully. This comes days after the nationwide system failure which affected payments to 600,000 grant beneficiaries last week.

Mondli Gungubele, Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, on Thursday held a media briefing to update the public on the social grants payment debacle.

So they fire the board... now you have no board and have to hire from scratch. The new board will have no experience and still be cadres. How's that helpful.

The longer it takes to fix this issue the better.

A VERY Telling statement!!! "Gungubele rejected this accusation. He said that governance issues at Postbank had been standing in the way of the government’s goal to build a functional state bank that would benefit poor people."

None of them deserve grants, I hope they never fix the glitch.
Remember, unfortunately in between the free-riders, there are legitimate beneficiaries e.g. pensioners, disabled etc.

Not all of them are "family of 8" scenarios, or a lazy 23 year old that pisses his money away..

You got a point there.

Was going to say, most of those were pensioners impacted.
