Potential Router Issue

Hi all,

I have been experiencing an inconsistent Fibre connection since the line was installed. Line is from Vumatel and ISP is Crystal Web. Neither seem to be able to give me any definite answers as to the source.
I purchased my own router (Billion 7800DXL) which I assume is compatible from what I have read. Is there any special setup that needs to be done on the router to account for it having a CPE infront of it?

Is this wireless or wired that you are testing. Is this inconsistent speeds or connectivity?

Hey

I am sorry you are having issues but you can try unplugging the CPE and plugging it back in. If that doesn't work you might have to find out if it is the line or the ISP. If the problem is with the line, you can report it to Vumatel. If the problem is with the ISP, report it to ISP.

It is both wired and wireless and both inconsistent speeds as well as connectivity.

Hi Xefor,
I have power cycled the CPE and router a number of times with no change.
