POTS router firmware?

I've spotted this section on ftp://ftp.saix.net/pub/adsl/MARCONI%20ADSL%20USB%20POTS/

It appears to contain the firmware upgrades for the POTS routers. Has anyone tried these?

Good question. I need to flash mine and I have a copy of the software (supplied by Telkom tech) at the office that I've just downloaded to home.

If you don't hear from me again, then I've fried the modem.[]

I killed it.[:I][:0]

Swapped it out this morning at the local Telkom branch.

I'd advise just taking the modem for a swapout if anyone has any doubts about this.[xx(]
