Hey guys,

I have a HiSense U989 Pro, and just wanted to know...

These power banks that you buy, are they safe to use voltage wise?

Is there a chance cheap models can damage your battery?

Do they provide proper voltage to the battery while charging?

Are they generally safe to use?

Thanks guys

let me ask you this. will you buy an off brand cheap chineese charger?

for the same reason, dont skimp on the powerbank. buy Romoss its the brand I have the most faith in, and a few other people will agree.

Thank you Sir.

If I may ask, any specific retailer who stocks those? Takealot perhaps?

I'm in Western Cape, Cape Town. Northern Suburbs

I bought mine on special on loot. for R349 (its the solo 9 20 000mAh)
I saw another 20 000mAh one on onedayonly last week for R350

but you can find them online quite easilt for between R400 and R500.
anything more than that is too expensive IMHO

Thanks for the heads up - I just bought one of those Romoss 20 000 mAh power banks from Loot. They have upped their price slightly - I paid R 369.00....which is still good value, as I see they sell the Romoss 10 000 mAh unit for R 499.00 (odd)

One thing I was confused about on Loot - when I was checking out, there were two options for shipping - pay R 20.00 and it takes 3 - 5 days. Or pay R 0.00 and it is delivered to the Post Office counter the following day. No brainer to select the second option...unless I missed something ?

I have plenty of other power banks here, some that include a solar panel built-in on top of the power bank, so the power bank can be recharged from the sun. But, for the price, I couldn't pass this one up on Loot.

I'd have said the 'no brainer' is avoiding the post office...
