They are selling loads of it, but it become kind of pointless if all that money goes into a perpetual cycle of replacing transformers and other network equipment, especially in areas where they are not deriving maximum value for their investment.

Perhaps having such high planned isn't a good idea, if it was around 9 or 8% that would have allowed less OCGT usage.

The question is, will people in Soweto and all of those affected areas reduce their consumption? Probably not, because they are selfish and unable to see past their nose.
