Hi,

Is it possible to keep my fibre internet going during loadshedding by powering my router and fibre ONT using a powerbank and USB to DC cable? Anyone running a solution like this and can give me suggestions on what cables to buy? Any other inexpensive options to keep the fibre internet going?

Thanks,
Christof

Most of those devices are 12VDC and the power banks are 5VDC so you will need a dc-dc converter of some kind

Some entry level routers like the Ubiquity Aircube take 5V USB power and I have run those off a power bank and it lasts forever
