WOTLK for me is the best.

I liked Vanila, but it was tooooo long and toooo boring with endless rep grind at 1 rep per kill.....
TBC had some nice ideas, and raiding were 100 times better scripted than in vanila wow. Heroics were great for the casual gamer!

Wotlk, part from the boring vanila Nax, have a lot more to offer for me. The area is so much better with some real nice places to explore. Gear is not as important as it was way back, but the amount of choices are awesome. From what I have seen from the public test on the new patch we are only scratching the barrel of what is still possible with this game. I mean Arthas is still out there! ;)

PreBC.

Everything felt bigger/more epic. Bigger raids and even 5mans. Really hard bosses. Classes that were truly diverse. Of course, much of this sentiment is probably due to the experience being new. Wrath content is far and away more evolved and engaging. And yet I remember the 'good old times' much more favourably. I guess it's all about perspective, though. In many ways I'm glad I got to experience MC and (some of) BWL and AQ20 back when 60 was the cap. Blasting through them now at 80 would simply spoil what made those raids special.

I absolutely HATED TBC ... aside from Nagrand, nothing impressed me.

Some of my favourite places in WoW are still Feralas, Winterspring (got the mount), Ashenvale, etc.

Couldnt agree more, the scenary in BC really failed me. I didnt enjoy any of it aside from Nagrand.

Im also a fan of vanilla, even though i never got to the cap before BC hit. The leveling just seemed way more extreme, and everything was a lot tougher. Now days getting to 58 is a joke. Zero skill required.

It is amazing the amount of response for Pre-BC from this community. I wonder if it is just a South African thing or an all round thing.

If you guys really enjoy it, you should maybe consider joining the Pre-BC guild that I lead. It really is great fun and brings back alot of memories doing over all the bosses, with level 60s only etc.

Even those hideously long dungeon set 1 to dungeon set 2 quests seem fun now haha.

Ash, the only problem is finding 40 people to cap at lvl 60 with you to raid :/ Might be a mission to find.

I think vanilla's my favourite aswell. MC BWL will never get old... okay maybe MC :)

Actually the content is alot easier for us now :)
New spell and class mechanics, you can 13 man MC with players in Tier 1 and less.

It has been done by several guilds, and is doable again.

Our guild plans to start from the very beginning, ZG and AQ20 and work our way up to AQ40.

I enjoyed vanilla, I enjoyed BC, and now I like WotLK. I have no problem moving on to new content.

This weekend we did Kel'thezud with only 1 ranged on normal. It was rough going, especially since we where gearing up some people, so we had people in blues and greens. Fortunately our 2 healers where kitted out 25man epics. It was a really good fight.

my order

1. Vanilla
2. WOtlk
3. BC

Vanilla was an awesome game, then TBC butchered it, imo, and wotlk makes me feel fuzzy again when i lvl, getting some spark back. i Think blizzard are gonna make it lame again with the duel specc thing, gonna make more noob tankers and healers, instead of 1 dedicated healer, or tank
