Pre-owned Volvo XC60 long-term review – After a checkup and service, it drives like a dream

After six months of ownership, we paid this reader another visit to find out if he's had any problems with his 2009 Volvo XC60.

2009 is a bit old for me, but does anyone have the running costs of a newer model XC60 (say 2014-2016) and maintenance of a car out of warranty? I'd be curious to know.

I am currently getting around 5.0 litre/100 km in my paid-off diesel Micra. It might not be as comfortable as the XC60, but as I drive around 100 km/day, it would be a very hard sell to get anything with fuel consumption that bad.
