Prepaid meter Apps?

So 2022 and we still do not have any prepaid electricity apps where you can register your meter and manage it from there?

It is tiresome thb to being forced down the tunnel of having to rely on the box in your house, the connection between it and the outside unit and finally manual loading. I suppose there isn't an API for this?

90% of meters in South Africa are dumb meters. There are a few(Balwin Properties) Smart meters in the country but not all Vending companies support them and if it is a council meter it is a dumb meter.

Hexing Meters Clou Meters are the 2 biggest and decent brands in south africa that is smart. (Works with a sim card) Landis+Gyr also have smart meters with a RJ45 port but Not sure if there is a vending company in south africa that allows you to use it.

I have hexing from Landis+Gyr.

hexing and landis+gyr is 2 seperate meter companies
