Stinky work? :p

I expect Telkom to try throwing a spanner in the works wrt local loop etc.

Hope these guys succeed and is successful with their planned fibre system.

will it be another fail like dark fibre Africa?

Sure they have put thousands of kilometres worth of cable out there but can anyone actually use any of it?

Data travelling to me through rivers of poop. How appropriate for our telecomunication environment in our country. :whistling:

Confused ...

Would someone with a bit more knowledge expand on this, please.

Will this include the full last mile? (FTTH) ... on their website I find:
Last Mile Managed Services
Coming soon: managed connectivity from POP to customer premises on per service or capacity basis.
Co-location services at POP facilities.

Does this mean I can order a cable from them & have it coming up through my loo? :wtf::p

If so, will they be selling connectivity only, or connectivity & data?

What about pricing, or is this too early to speculate?

FTFY (in bold) :p

I wonder if there'll be rats in the sewers & if the rats will be a problem should there be...

You do realise DFA is not an access network right? So you will NEVER get a link directly from them.
