Pretoria Link unusable

I'm experiencing extremely degradaded service in Pretoria. Called the helpdesk at 2:40pm and they said the link to Pretoria is basically down and they're doing repairs and expect it to be up at 3:00pm. Well, it's 3pm and it just took me about 5min to get this page up. Common wbs, whats up with this crappy service !

Where else on earth would a company like Telkom, iBurst or whatever still exists with crappy service like this ?

I noticed the Sunny side & wonderboom towers go offline at about 3pm a few mins later they came back online......and now the latency is all screwed up again!!!

I feel like shuving this UTD up their *peep*

Why o why can't they just get it right! If it was just the ISP I would gladly change to ADSL or sentech or whateva, but it's not that simple......no matter what ISP you choose your going to have crap service!!! They expect all southafricans to just accept it. I'm fed up with this poor service, and even more fed up with this helpless situation. Is South-Africa unable to provide even just one stable ISP?

You just have to live in another country for a few weeks and have a broadband connection there to see what the internet should be like...stable, fast & cheap!!!
