price of a opel 1.9diesle engine

hi,anyone how how much will the 1.9engines cost the ones that comes in the astra or the corsa bakkies

got a old 1.3 kaddet,and thinking of putting in that engine,better km/h and better preformance

You are opening yourself up to a world of pain. Its not just a matter of putting in a new engine. You will probably need a complete new wiring harness, a new ECU. Will the gearbox fit the engine. Drive ratio's on a diesel engine and on a petrol differ totally, so look for a gearbox as well. Ah, but now you will probably need new sideshafts as well... See where I am going with this?

i am loocking for a complete engine ,should update main post

lots of work lots of money,but will like to know what all the parts will cost etc

money i got available atm is around 17k ,but gonna cost alot more than that :'(

will be awesome to drop in a 2.0 16v superboss with a f20 box(i am inlove with that engine)

but,looking for alot better km/l with out buying a new car,

OP, just buy another car. You'll spend tens of thousands on an engine, and all the other bits that you'll need, not to mention a similar amount on labour, and you'll have a car that no one can service and no one will ever buy from you. And it'll never be the sort of car you can take drive to the coast because it'll never be reliable enough.

If you want better performance, buy a car with better performance. Simple.
