Oh so rather upper market UK brand :D.

Brilliant quality always used to buy stuff when I was in the UK. Love their French cuffed work shirts.

I find it difficult to get good quality formal office wear. I just want a plain and simple tailored jacket and skirt, for instance, and all I can find are rags (Woolworths), weird short jackets that looks like they are tailored to fit dungbeetles (Edgars) or skirts that are designed for people that have no waists (Queenspark). All of it overpriced.
And no decent formal winter shoes: just clumpy clog-like court shoes or blunt-toed matronly shoes, not even leather.

Well shopping at those places, what do you expect? They make clothes for old nerds.
I got some very nice office wear from places like Legit, meltz, clothing city or even from places that make uniforms. And I'm not talking about sloppy black slacks or frumpy blouses - decent tailored jackets with shoulder pads and well- fitting lined dresses, pencil skirts etc. You really just need to know where to shop and what to look for.

I went to the woolies sale yesterday at Sandton City. Got some really nice work and casual clothes with most of it being around 40% off. Very happy as these days a decent set of work pants goes for R400+

I ended up getting two formal pants, a work shirt, and two casual shirts all for about R700. Well worth it. By the time the 75% off sale arrives they no longer have my size.

R500 for a shirt.... That is way too much. I feel bad if I spend more than R50 for a shirt :(

I went to the Brooklyn Woolies sale. It was heaving: a living hell. Managed to get one or two things, but overall not impressed.
