You are not missing much. It's all the clothes no one wants and only ever size S or XXXL left.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. I've found loads of clothes there. To each his own I suppose.

Few years back Clothing City used to have QuickSilver, Billabong and loads of other "modern" or "cool" clothes, now they stock only plain crap, and guess what, they have ample amounts of XL, XXXL, XXXXl, XXXXXL, XXXXXXL,XXXXXXXL, but do you thing they will have XXL.......

Bet that same jacket is selling for R1200 now.

But going to have a look at their clothing, isn't the section extremely small?

Nah, PNP won't sell for that price. Their target market won't pay that. Go to a Hypermarket, like the one on Atterbury. Has a big selection.

So I think try PNP Hypermarket and Makro (Silver Lakes), but also Meltz at Atterbury Value Mart. These are all relatively close to each other, so you can do it all in one go.

Otherwise you can always get yourself a nice parka at the Army surplus store. :p

I no longer can afford to department stores like Edgars, so am forced to use Pick N Pay and so on. Some times you can get OK T-shirts, pjs and the like at P.E.P boutique and AC Kermans (;)

Ackermans? Or Jet?

It's sad to see this kind of reply only came halfway down the second page.

What's worse than first world problems because you surely have them?

This thread is the equivalent of "Oh my gosh life is so hard because Jimmy Choo's aren't affordable anymore."

Nothing has ever been at a decent price at Edgars or Woolworths or Stuttafords - where do I sign up to be a millionaire like the rest of you guys?

I have news for you there are WAY more expensive clothing stores around. About 15 years ago I was looking at a Hugo Boss jacket that cost R5,000.00. Can only imagine what it costs now.

'Normal' fit looks like there is a boep pouch that isn't being filled. Slim fit is WAY better.

Yeah, if you're slim then normal fit looks like you're wearing a dress (or so my son tells me). Edgars is also relatively cheap with their formal wear. My son got his farewell suit from there for under R2k complete with shoes, tie and shirt. Some places were as much as R10k :wtf:
