What is the obsession with effing 'slim fit'? I swear only thin people shop. Saw some ohk stuff at jet yesterday and the Edgar's house brand is all i buy without a sale. Prices they are truly insane OP.

The part that fkn irritates me is that slim fit is an extra charge for using less material!!

Oh and as if gym fees and health foods didn't have inflated costs too! Are we supposed to be round blobs??

Doesn't anyone on the forum know how the clothes industry work?
Is there for instance a "billabong", "BadBoy", "Stone Harbour" etc factories?, can someone buy directly from them?, what happens to the thousands of clothing wear that does not get sold?
When i was younger there use to be these shops that sold faulty clothes, has these also disappeared?

There's a Billabong factory shop in Woodmead, Jhb - close to Makro - you don't get the latest stuff, but prices are very good - less than half price sometimes

why do you go buy from chain stores and then complain about price vs quality?
you wouldn't buy a mercedes from a gwm/chana/tata multi dealer right?

take a lunch break and go find a good old school outfitter and tailor: spend as much as or even less sometimes, than the Edgars ww etc and have quality clothing made to fit that will outlast the seasonal fashion hype.

I can refer you to one: Lions in Parktown.. just for example..
getting thrilled by getting polo, pringle etc at half price sales at s.fords? sure half of R900 is R450. cheap uh?
Mr Lions normal price (he does not do sales) is less than the R450.
plus i love the old school feel, they wrap your purchases in brown paper tied with string etc..
plus he has an epic collection of shoes! ... reminds me I need to go see him soon!

Do you get to pick fabrics etc, or do you pick a shirt and he tailors it to fit you?

So do you walk around in a suit and dress shirt all the time or does he tailor T-shirts and shorts as well?
