Price of electricity in South Africa should be lower than 50c per kWh

How they going to pay winter, spring, autumn and summer bonuses or pay corrupt "Ex Heads" whom resigned huge bonuses if any cheaper?

50c cost to who? Municipality maybe....I've never seen anything like the 86c quoted as the current cost per kWh.

WTF? 86c per kw/h is the current price? Haven't paid that little for years - effectively, due to the sliding scale and VAT, it's closer to R2 per kw/h.

They will never make it 50c per kw/h - they have to cover their enormous average salaries and ridiculous bonuses, not to mention insane idiocy like the "Winter Challenge Bonus" (https://mybroadband.co.za/news/ener...yees-r150-million-winter-challenge-bonus.html) where they're bribing their staff with R150m over winter to keep the lights on.

**** I wish I was paying 86c per unit. More like 186c, actually it almost exactly 186c with vat direct from ekhurleni muni.
