There was also no jostling for the job during Mugabe's 37 year reign, it was a very dignified 37 in power. Grace, order and dignity was the order of the day.I saw this in the Citizen. Interesting times ahead. True to IFP form, no jostling for the job. Sorted with grace, order and dignity.
Don't think Grace has much say anymore. There was also no jostling for the job during Mugabe's 37 year reign, it was a very dignified 37 in power. Grace, order and dignity was the order of the day.
It's a simple setup where everyone knows their place and understands who is Boss, anyone who dares challenge the status quo is dealt with swiftly and decisively.Don't know much about the IFP, but I have heard good things and respect for their leaders.
Never heard of the Natal Indaba ?Talking about the poorest of the poor perhaps we need to reflect on the Prince of Phindangene's record as a homeland leader, being one of the elders around here how would you rate him in relation to other homeland leaders like for example Lucas Mangope of Bophuthatswana?
What did he do for the people of KZN? What is his legacy as a homeland leader, taking into account his close friendship with the National Party?
. Velenkosini Hlabisa said it was time for the history of the IFP and ANC’s relations to be rectified, saying they came from the same background.
Newly-elected IFP president Velenkosini Hlabisa has made reconciling with the ANC one of the party’s goals as he takes over from Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, the party’s founder and long-time former leader.
“We are not talking of bringing two organisations into one, we are talking about reconciliation. There was a phase of violence, which made many families lose members and during that period many untrue stories were told to the public about the IFP,” said Hlabisa.
Beginning of the end for the IFP. This isn't going to work for them. NFP (do htey still exist? ) might just seize the opportunity.Time to reconcile with ANC, says new IFP president
