Afrikaans evolved from Dutch, Flemish, Malay, Arab, Bantu languages and many other influences. Speak Afrikaans in The Netherlands and they will ask you to speak English. If you can't speak Afrikaans, don't make assumptions about it. Are you aware the first Afrikaans book was written in Arabic script?
Afrikaans is an unevolved Dutch dialect

Can this be invoked then?

1. All the land between the Tugela and Buffalo rivers including the Port of Durban was given to the British by the Zulu King Mpande for their help in a tribal war.

2. The King of Swaziland has stated that the entire Mpumalanga was gifted to the Boers by his ancestor.

3. The Boer Republics of Stellaland and Goshen were signed over to the Boers by the Griqua chief. It's in the deeds office and the biggest land claim in South Africa which the ANC doesn't want known.

4 The Khoisan Chief Jan Bantjies witnessed the land transaction between Piet Retief and Dingane, which Dingane reneged on by murdering Piet Retief.

5. There were no blacks south of the Great Fish River nor in the Northern Cape. Ever heard of the Eiselen Line?
But that already belonged to Piet Retief. In fact all the land between Tugela & Umzimvubu. So add East London.

You're introducing something new to the discussion. Nowhere did I claim it lasts forever.
No, you introduced something new, yourself unsure if it is even topical.

Aka: Moved goalposts

Yet now arguing and calling somebody else out for it. :X3:

The apartheid government should have dealt with this when they had the chance.

Odd angle coming in here, this was discussed earlier on in this thread.

Odd in which way? They encouraged this sort of thing. Except for making them wear suits. What was the outcome of the earlier discussion?

You were in the view that the Apartheid government must have dealt with it when they needed the IFP to secure a transition, but there were more stakeholders to this decision than the NP.
