46yo, and no, the King in his will named the now departed Queen maDlamini as the regent with all the responsibilities of a King, or Queen in this instance of the Zulu nation. According to the culture the next King was always going to come from the royal marriage and the late Queen is the royal wife being from the Kingdom of eSwatini, so following the same culture the first born from the royal marriage, that of the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini and King Goodwill Zwelithini has now been named the King.

Obviously not everyone was going to warmly welcome the news.

She was the nominated great wife by the king and the eldest son would be first in line. Dunno why there's chaos about it.

That said if the firstborn from the great wife was female she would not become queen, sexists?

Line of succession is patrilineal. If they crown a queen, she can't mary her brothers and half-brothers. Balobedu follow matrilineal succession. The princess becomes queen regnant and can shag anyone within the royal council.

No, it not leeching, it's a lifetime of service.

So, will the president of a country be kneeling in front of an individual that has no place in a constitutional democracy? When does he hand over a certificate to the King of the Khoisan and the leader of Orania?
