The Supreme Court of Appeal has ruled that barring prisoners from using personal computers in their cells is unconstitutional and contrary to their right to further education.

A "modem"????? Who uses a modem today? It is WiFi and Bluetooth which connects a good 30m to 100m away, or can be a warden's phone nearby that has a hotspot running on it.

I am so glad for them all! I think this should be a basic human right and taxpayers must ensure that all prisoners get one. And a decent one at it too.
