Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, Im receiving a Private Number on my cell every 10min or so with an American womans voice that says "pls hold we have an important call" she says this twice n then hangs up - like a pre recorded voice.

A lil annoying at first but now im just blocking all incoming Pvt No's to my phone - just wondering if any1 recalls a familiar automated voice so i can fight back? I havent befriended anyone and it almost seems like it was a call back or something from a company and now stuck.

Calls from our company's phone numbers are ALL displayed as PRIVATE NUMBER, so not answering a call might get me in some serious trouble when the boss is looking for me.

I am so glad I don't work there. I ALWAYS ignore them

Yeah deff hangs each time after the 2nd voice... I suspected it was Virgin CC!!! I actually gave Virgin a call this morning to be told they dont have such a service. To be honest blocking all pvt calls and having them not even show up on my phone is no worries but the curious side of me wants to find out, so im constantly thinking about it hehe

I ignore private numbers.

If they are such cowards to be hiding behind private numbers, then they don't deserve a chance to talk to myself :D

Unfortunately, most premicell numbers are automatically hidden, especially those tied to PABX's, and large companies also use IP phones, which hide their numbers often.
