What I find disturbing is that there so many topics that are completely off the table in SA. How do you fix something if you can't talk honestly about it.
I believe there are only2 ways to solve a disagreement, talking or fighting. By talking I include broadly negotiate, compromise, listen with empathy, convince, debate, be truthful, respectful, ...
when all the talking fails the only option is fight to win. Unless you are happy to accept defeat, in which case you should not have wasted time talking in the first place.
We don't have a culture of fair debate in this country, we don't recognise ad hominem attacks, or straw man arguments, or appeal to authority, or appeal to ignorance, or slippery slope fallacy, ... as invalid arguments.

The scientific evidence is there to show that there are certainly diffences between genetic groups. It's just something people don't want to hear. Nobel prize winners have had their careers ruined by bringing this up.

I wont be surprised if this is just a situation that came up cause some students failed classes and looking for a way to get revenge.

Before I get slammed, Thomas Sorwell ie. A really smart and direct black man who worked his ASS off to get where he got, also commented on the lack of basic IQ of fellow black people not so much as to say, "Duh, black people are dummies, whites are smarties" but he made a good case that traditionally even in american black culture it is not such a primary focus point to learn and educate one self and they are more focused on settling down / reproducing as early as possible. He brought up some interesting points on how this could be improved/fixed over time but of course the media loved to silence him.


So my own 2 cents , it all boils down again to historical cultural differences that have not been addressed properly within black culture. White people cannot fix it for them, it needs to come from black people themself and the first step as Thomas Sorwell also said is to self reflect and understand the realities of short comings.

People don't mind hearing it, they just don't want to hear it as an excuse to something. People here loathe BEE, yet they apply the same kind of thinking towards their own arguments -instead of judging people on an individual basis, they judge the entire group
