People don't mind hearing it, they just don't want to hear it as an excuse to something. People here loathe BEE, yet they apply the same kind of thinking towards their own arguments -instead of judging people on an individual basis, they judge the entire group
This is where I would really like to hear what the teacher said.
For example on average, white people have a higher IQ than black people.
But if you look at the population distributions, there is a large amount of overlap.
Therefore whilst the difference might be on the population level, it is statistically false to make a prediction of an individual's IQ from their race.
This graph neatly illustrates the point.
You can only do the opposite, and only then on the tails.
So if you have the IQ test of someone in that is in the 140s, it is more likely to be East Asian or Jewish than it is to be black.
Just like if you look at a 100m dash time of below 10s. It is more likely to be a black man than it is to be an East Asian woman.
Fortunately though, the vast majority of people simply end up being normies in the middle of the graph. Which means that judgment of an individual can only be done by judging that individual.
