I noticed, since Thursday when the network came back up, i can not::
1.Post long posts in forums/send large emails
2.Upload attachments

using my sony ericsson v600 vlive phone via wap. Not tried with web yet, and i have tried using both free v-live settings, and normal internet.gprs settings.
Does anyone else have this problem?

What happens if you remove the proxy settings?

Don't you want to PM me the whole story, together with your contact details?

Vodacom has limited the uplink and down link packets on the Vlive portal and have partially blocked the secure port 443. so it is very difficult to upload large bits of information, or gain access to secure sites on the Vlive portal... well thats my take on it. great job guys. you could have thought about us Vlive phone users though when you did it.

A bit of a catch-22 statement, don't you think.

Back to the topic. Is anything broken that requires fixing?

PS: No I'm not going to tell you what colour my boxers are!

A little random...:(

Surely if you remove a proxy setting from the config it won't load anything?

It was solved kind of. By not using proxy settings, BUT some of the sites i use require proxy to be enabled, and now i can not post large posts from my phone at all. THat will have to be looked at. I can however now upload images to email via my phone
