Problem with Suitcase on new Macbook Pro with 10.6.1

I am having a problem with Freehand, and Suitcase with my new Macbook pro.

Suitcase opens automatically on startup. When I open Freehand, the spinning ball comes up. Only when I quit Suitcase, does Freehaad open correctly. Does anyone know what could be causing this. My Macbook has 10.6.1 installed

Freehand? I agree - move on to Illustrator, Indesign and Fireworks

Freehand is actually still great software for drawing. But suitcase has been totally supserseded - get fontxplorer pro or fontcase.

The problem with FH is that it is going to launch in Rosetta and Adobe has long since shelved it - mothballed deluxe.

Why are you using Suitcase? I really do prefer Linotype FontExplorer.

Anything that FH can do, Illustrator can do better. I know in the agency setup guys like FH even for layout. Truth be told, if I start FH now the only thing I will remember is the QUIT function....

You have PPC Suitcase and an early CS (1 I presume) both running in Rosetta. The Suitcase process hangs. Does suitcase work in Rosetta on its own? Does it work with Photoshop? Any chance of bringing Suitcase into Intel?

Also, why are you using Suitcase?
