Problems connecting Samsung ES7500 to extended Wfi router

Hi ALL

Im hoping someone can help me here. My setup is as follows :
UPSTAIRS :
Telephone /ADSL Line
Billion Router.

DOWNSTAIRS :
tplink wifi extender WR340G
Samsung Smart TV ES7500
Ive extended my wifi range but connecting me tplink to the billion router wirelessly usings WDS , same SSID on the Same Channel. IP Range is split between the top router and the bottom router.

I can connect seamlessly with my iphone ipad, pc no issues to both access points.

My problem is my Smart TV refuses to connect to the access point downstairs, where the signal is 100%, instead it keeps trying to connecti to the billion router upstairs that broadcasts probably 25% signal. WHy is this so ? 'Is there anyway i can get my TV to pickup the strongertplink access point downstairs ?

Hi Therre,
Try changing the Channel numbers downstairs to be at least 4 apart from upstairs. So if upstairs is on channel 1 put downstairs on channel 5
