Problems frustrate broadband consumers

OMFG THEY'RE SUCH LIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I phoned TelkomSA yesterday, they told me that TelkomInternet's international server was having problems and was in the process of being fixed. OBVIOUSLY they PICKED UP A PROBLEM IF THEY WERE BUSY FIXING IT!!!!! MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude without taking away from your obvious excitement about the topic, that is a standard response from telkom, "international server" is a variable that they replace with whatever you call and complain with "in the process of being fixed" means NOTHING with telkom

Any idea when this is going to be resolved, my download speed has dropped from 35 kbs to 20 kbs.

But if telkom is the problem, you guys are free to go and sign up with one of their many competitors. This is a true democracy and monopolies are only allowed @ Toys R Us.

Yup... it's always "international's fault..."

Who remembers MilliVanilli...

"Blame it on Hussain for the price of Gas..."

Would love to, and would do so at the drop of a hat, BUT.... none of the wireless providers cover my area, and I fear won't be doing so for at least a couple of years.

Need an alternative fixed line provider or a WiMax type solution over here. And again, I would expect costs to fall inline with international practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, if it was a true democracy the market would be opened. The people don't want to pay these bloody exhorbitant prices we're paying, even considering the current Telkom competitors.

Once again my sarcasm font was disabled ... I rtrully agree with you .. I was trying to be sarcastic ... sorry to seem pro telkom for a while there ;)

ROFL, you're forgiven. My bad! :D

Yesterday I experienced a drop in d/l speed to about 15kbs, then, for about a half hour i couldn't d/l anything. Most annoying. You just know when you call Telkom, they're gonna say, "alls well here, must be your isp", and vice versa. Thats been my experience anyway.
