I'm not surprised that procrastination is on the increase. With a media that punishes work and rewards laziness, poverty, and a nanny state, who would want to make an effort?

Ahh .. the fruits of socialism.

I think the point is that people get sidetracked - it's not the media's fault, but society as a whole (including the person procrastinating).
