dont work , just see unbilled call duration and amount.
nothing there tells me the gb used at all ...

@fismail - when logging into MTN active - you select your main account which should bring up your sub accounts - if you select the sub account that your data bundle is loaded on then select unbilled when the page loads.

Morning guys

Like I mentioned yesterday. We're reloading the Promo 1GB manually. Pls keep and eye on your inv's and let me know if there is any issue.

Seeing the words "reloading" and especially "manual" in a highly computerised/automated environment, tells me that someone stuffed up bigtime. The question is: what is MTN's current rate for 2 gig? According to the website, it is R399 x 2 = R798. Vodacom's rate is R389. MTN is therefore 205% more expensive than Vodacom. Period.

The system was set up to only load the extra GB for 90 days after activation of the 1Gb bundle. The new bundles and price plans will be released in the near future.

Currently MTN charges R399 for 2Gb not R798.

It is imminent, people. They are waiting to see if they need to do it or not. Time to pull the plug. Glad my contract expires in September.

Someone stuffed up by letting the 90 days lapse, now a lot of people have to work hard to manually change thousands of accounts on the system.

Currently MTN charges R399 for 2Gb not R798.

Not according to the website.

Yep... reminds me of the "we will fine you if you use your account for VoIP" attitude which MTN claimed was not going to happen when you talk to them face to face... it remained the paper policy though.

Not according to the website.

Maybe read this whole topic before posting. It was said that the website is not up to date. Pitbull also said:
I'll have the Website guys know to change that.

Obviously the website still has to be updated.

All in all you still get 2GB for R399. If you didn't get the extra 1Gb PM Pitbull and he will sort it out for you.

What about the people that don't use this forum? Will they be screwed over for the other 1GB bundle?

As long as ure sorted i wouldnt worry too much bout that:confused:

I don't have a 1gig bundle:D I have a top up 75 (with e220) and I'm still waiting for the new pricing to kick in, so that maybe top up balances will be allowed to purchase PPDBs then I can get 100MB for R80. I'm not a heavy user --> 200MB to 250MB per month.

I also have a VC top up 135 and VM prepaid. Always better to have different sims available in case your primary network is down:p
