Warning to people in South Africa who use private security

Fidelity Services Group CEO Wahl Bartmann has warned that police minister Senzo Mchunu's proposed private security regulation changes could dramatically increase the already high levels of crime in South Africa.

He says the Fidelity Services Group will oppose the proposed amendments through its legal team.

"Another proposed change is enforcing annual psychological evaluations for armed private security personnel, which must be funded by their employer."

It just keeps getting worse each time I see this.
They either really do think we live in Wakanda, or it's just another obvious proposal to kill the security industry entirely while projecting progressivism.

The problem for me is that some (not all) of the regulations are actually a good thing, if we lived in Wakanda.
But its rules for thee and not for me. If the Private Security lot have to follow all these rules, then the PoPo should as well.

They've gotten really good at using seemingly sane suggestions here and there that they know will have their desired outcome, while also knowing that the media and many idiots will defend it on the way there.
The fact that it works so well drives me nuts.

It's that part that gives away the true intention.

To be honest, giving it even a 30 second bit of though, the PoPo should actually have stricter rules to adhere to given they have significantly more power.

He's been an absolute disaster for South Africa. Policy wise the worst we've had (so far). And always been a sanctimonious ****, which explains why the new dawners here love him so much given that sanctimony is their core identity.

I am convinced that the ANC and their president is worse than parties like the EFF or MK.

Those parties scare people more because they tell you to your face what their intentions are.... the ANC has had more than 3 decades to practise the art of wrapping that poison pill in bacon knowing that it'll either get people on their side or have the public at each other's throats while it's being shoved up the arses.

The GNU needs to resolve immediately.
This idea of mild governance by "working together" was a nice idea, but there's nothing behind it.
You simply cannot negotiate or share power with a commie.

Damn fine quote.

For communists the answer to all problems is more government.
Our government has perfected the art of stupidity. Perhaps they could write a book about it and earn some money. Chaos and destruction follow them, as they shape their surroundings into a reflection of themselves.
