Anrich was going to play at Centurion. That's great news
So good decision to enforce the follow on?
That's the biggest challenge for the selectors. Getting the balance right.Assuming everyone is fit, which bowlers do we go with for final?
- KG
- Jansen
- George
- Burger
- Nortje
- Keshav
- Paterson
- Mulder
- Bosch

Mulder,kg & Jansen will defenitely play. Keshav unless its an absolute green pitch also a definite. If anrich is fully fit I would bet on shuks going for him.Assuming everyone is fit, which bowlers do we go with for final?

Paterson might also be in the running due to his success with NottsMulder,kg & Jansen will defenitely play. Keshav unless its an absolute green pitch also a definite. If anrich is fully fit I would bet on shuks going for him.
The third seamer will be a dog fight.

Nope - he's on the list. Look againYou forgot about Gerald Coetzee
But ja I'm glad this is not my decision.
We have enough to play a proper 2nd team as a warmup before the final. Hopefully, then we can also see who is on/in form. Doubt they will do something like this, but it would be the smart thing to do.
de Zorzi shouldn't be in the squad. He's averaged 35 across his 75 FC matches (30 in 11 tests). I don't think that merits a place in the top order of a test side. The frivolities by which our top order conducts themselves continues to fuel my anxiety. I'd be tempted to bolster the batting stocks with this side... short a spinner, short a bowler, sorry Kesh... I've been so impressed with Bosch's one off test.... I know this side will never see the light of day, but we talking hypothetically here gents...

Yeah, he's a hard sell but I feel compelled as we share an alma mater.de Zorzi shouldn't be in the squad. He's averaged 35 across his 75 FC matches (30 in 11 tests). I don't think that merits a place in the top order of a test side.
Mulder hasn't been that impressive on his return. I'd say it should be a straight swap - Bosch in for Mulder and keep Kesh. The frivolities by which our top order conducts themselves continues to fuel my anxiety. Here are a bunch of options we should rather be looking at:Yeah, he's a hard sell but I feel compelled as we share an alma mater.
