So, back to normal then - playing to our familiar k4k potential

Blergh - it's so hard being a proteas supporter

Tsotsobe needs to fsck off until he learns to field properly, and bowl well consistently. He literally handed them the game with his fielding, after earlier giving them the advantage by serving up trash when he was bowling.

Behardien also needs to FO.

I'm up for giving Parnell another chance since he's shown some improvement this series.

Our bowling let us down. How the fsck can Alan Donald be the bowling coach when I've never, ever seen any SA bowler bowl yorkers when it's needed? Everyone kept bowling short. Does he not tell them this? Especially at the death. Do the bowlers not logically realise this?

So Faf stays now?
I don't think we need de Kock yet.

Faf's average is good and he also showed that he can do the job in the IPL.

De Kock should be given some more exposure, he is very talented and I like AB not keeping.
He showed that he is more than capable in the local T20... also remember that he is only 20 years old.

Sri Lanka we lucky a couple of times and by the nature of T20 I would be extremely surprised to win 3 out of 3 in a foreign country's back yard that is rated 5 ICC places above your own current position.

Tsotsobe's bowling is fine. His fielding on the other hand needs a serious look at.

I agree Behardien could be replaced by someone with actual talent.

Parnell is another player that still has time on his side and seems to be maturing nicely.

Nice to be positive, but it only lasts till the next stuff up.

That is the reality.

Go back to smith and kallis? So that we can sit with this same problem in a year's time?

Also the T20 side should be there to expose players to international pressure.

In my opinion Davies should be dropped for Amla.

If memory serves, Amla has asked not to be considered for T20.

We need to groom talent or we will find ourselves in Australia's situation.

Smith and kallis are once in generation players. We need to breed their replacements now and give them international exposure in Odis and T20s.

Ah if Amla asked to be left out of the T20 team that is fine.

And I agree that unless we want to be stuck in a place where 3 - 4 players all retire within a year or two of each other and leave the team exposed, we should grantthe next generation some chance at getting experience.

Hence the view that youngsters like QdK are a permanent fixture and that ou toppies that don't perform get the boot as fast as possible

Proteas coach Russell Domingo has admitted that bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe was NOT on the original 15-man list for the recent tour of Sri Lanka due to fitness concerns.
