Herath to Morkel, FOUR, there is a lot more air on this time and Morkel has hammed this down the ground. Did not hold anything back on that stroke

Well played JP.
Fantastic innings![]()
166 overs 3 extras.
6 overs 2 extras.
I was really hoping for a little more from the Saffer bowling unit this afternoon. But let's see what they do tomorrow.
We bowling way too short.
Pitch the ball up and let the new ball do the rest.
I do not get the SA mentallity that all sub-Continent teams are weak against the shorter ball.....![]()

.The pitch report worries about a bit of rain in the afternoon, but then again that forecast has been with us all through and so far it's just been bright, blazing and sunny. There are a few footmarks opening up, from either end. Imran Tahir will be targeting them, especially against hte left-handers. Seriously dry track and it might offer some puffs on the odd occasion. The bowlers would be a little more happier with the wear, however little, it has sustained
SL 104-3 (36 overs)
Awesome last 20 minutes before lunch! SL were cruising then a brief rain shower took them off for a few minutes. And then we struck!
Both big fish back in the hut...
Steyn to Chandimal, OUT, short again and he has picked out short midwicket! What a terribly way to get out, especially with his side in such trouble. Rocks back and nailed it, but he hasn't bothered to keep it down. Steyn is spurring South Africa into a very strong position.
