Not at all surprised QdK got out. The last over or so he'd seemed very antsy and unsettled at the crease. Pity though; he stuck around for a good amount of time.

Over to the middle order to see this through...

What a stupid stupid review!! Honestly! These Sri Lankans appeal for freakin anything. Signs of desperation perhaps?

We ask for youngsters to get a chance. When they do and not perform to "expectations" they must be dropped. I believe he is good enough. Let him get the exposure and learn from it.

Regarding Peterson and Tahir, that is another story. Peterson now 21 innings without century and Tahir not consistent enough for test cricket. Time to consider van Zyl and Piedt / McLaren.

Anybody watching this - how is the weather and light?

Got a stream up and it's not looking great. Heavy clouds around and it's looking quite dark (although obviously not dark enough to pull the players off). We should be ok as I can't see this day's play going through to its scheduled close.

So it's looking great for us is what you're trying to say?

QDK has made a fine start nothing spectacular but nothing too bad either. Alviro and Tahir need to be looked at thought, not doing enough.

Don't know why SL are moaning.... AB was playing a shot and the ball hit him outside the line of off-stump. According to the Laws that I learnt while doing the umpire's exam, it will always be not out, even if the ball would go on to hit the stumps.

Ur and Umpire :D nice... are you still involved ?

and yes, agreed, hitting him outside the line will never be given out, or should never be given out.
