Amla looks like he's struggling. Everytime he reaches out on the front foot to deadbat a ball, he leans on his bat to get himself upright again. Hope it's nothing major...
I first did the exam in the late 80s while playing premier league cricket. Also did a few coaching courses, then run by Yogi Bear! I always maintained (and still do) that if you captain a side you should know the Laws of the game. It also bought me many bonus points with the umpires!!!Ur and Umpirenice... are you still involved ?
and yes, agreed, hitting him outside the line will never be given out, or should never be given out.

Not involved at the moment. Work and business and family keeping me too busy but that will soon be changing.![]()
Peach of a delivery. Pitched middle, hit top of off. That would've undone most batsmen. First flutters of nerves here...

They bowled 47 in that session. I figure if light is good we have flat least that many to face which will be super tough.Surely we should be able to stand for another 35 odd overs
Tea Sri Lanka have squeezed in a mindboggling 47 overs this session. South Africa have made only 49, but they have lost only two wickets. Hashim Amla is not in the best shape, he has batted more than 500 deliveries this game, but his resistance is still going strong
