Sure ... I just referred to a high score being chased down on a flat deck. Didn't imply that it is the score that might be reached.

Agreed. We will know what sort of wicket this is after the Proteas bat. We need to get off to a flyer though. Openers are due.

Morkel to Smith, (no ball) 2 runs, full again, it's lofted down the ground and Faf runs in from long on to take a great catch with his right hand, celebrates too but it's a no ball

Was it a no-ball? Looked like there was a bit behind the line...

Insane catch though. Wow!

Really hope De Kock and Amla have a good day! Both due for a good one this series.

Yeah, good Q. I asked myself that when the tour started.

Knowing the Ozzies, it's probably quite intentional. It's PsyOps. It pushes them into our space by claiming some of our identity for themselves, thereby hoping to diminish us. It steps on our toes and waves a stick in our face. It's typical Ozzie crap always deniable with a shrug of a shoulder.

I hope it backfires badly. ;)

To be fair, we're wearing their kit(canary yellow), on their territory, so if anything, we're ahead on this front.

Rilee Rossouw needs to piss off now.

How many chances is he going to get?

He's in the same boat as Behardien.

Ani: "to all those who are criticizing AB's decision of coming in late...AB himself said that SA are looking to use this series as a practice for WC and wont mind losing a couple of games in the process...So I guess on those lines...he is giving chances to relatively newer guys in the team to have a decent outing in the Aussie conditions.."

No harm in this. Would still like to win though!

AB gone. I presume if it is his wicket we can afford to waste a review but that was out without even seeing a replay. We can still do it.

Richardson to de Villiers, OUT, that's a loud appeal for lbw, umpire says it's out and AB reviews it! Bowden says there's nothing on Hot Spot, it's hitting him in line and is hitting the stumps too, AB has to go. AB had moved across a long way to the off side to slog the delivery on leg, missed it and was struck just in front of off

AB de Villiers lbw b Richardson 52 (34b 6x4 1x6) SR: 152.94

Damn! AB has given the team a chance. Cometh the hour, cometh the man?

(Should have sent Miller in!)

Hazlewood to Amla, OUT, one more, Amla's gone too! He made a bit of room for the straighter ball that was coming in, he missed the line of the ball and slogged to leg, and was clean bowled!

HM Amla b Hazlewood 102 (168m 115b 9x4 0x6) SR: 88.69

:crying:
