End of over 28 (7 runs) South Africa 142/1 (RR: 5.07)

HM Amla 61 (85b 7x4 0x6)
F du Plessis 50 (52b 3x4 1x6)
MJ McClenaghan 6-0-33-1
DL Vettori 6-0-19-0
27.6
McClenaghan to Amla, no run, a full ball angling into the right-hander, Amla tries to drive straight but the ball goes to point off the thick outside edge
27.5
McClenaghan to Amla, no run, full outside off, gets beaten as he tries to steer to third man
27.4
McClenaghan to du Plessis, 1 run, worked off the back foot towards wide mid on for a single to bring up a brisk half-century
27.3
McClenaghan to du Plessis, 2 runs, steps out and lofts the ball inside out over cover
27.2
McClenaghan to du Plessis, no run, has that been caught at slip? The celebrations begin but then they die out quickly because the ball has not carried. The ball bounced a few inches short of Latham's hands at first slip. Faf was trying to run the ball to third man but it bounced a bit more on him
27.1
McClenaghan to du Plessis, FOUR, that's too short and even though the line is outside off there is plenty of time to pull, Faf hammers it into the gap on the midwicket boundary
Gerrry: "Interesting 7 overs from Corey & the Neesh await if NZ keep delaying them and don't take wickets..."

F du Plessis 52 (57b 3x4 1x6)
HM Amla 62 (86b 7x4 0x6)

28.4
Vettori to du Plessis, 1 run, goes deep into his crease and cuts the ball from just outside off stump through point
28.3
Vettori to du Plessis, no run, played off the back foot on the off side
Cole Anderson: "With a batting line up of Ryder, Guptill, Williamson, Taylor, McCullum Neesham, Anderson and Ronchi for next years world cup I can see us being ultra competitive. Along with our three young pace bowlers Southee, Boult and McClenaghan. The future is bright for New Zealand Cricket."
28.2
Vettori to du Plessis, no run, defended back to the bowler
28.1
Vettori to du Plessis, no run, Vettori dives across the pitch to cut off a firm on-drive
ordanious77: "Back to the game for a second, yeah NZ are struggling atm but the game isn't close to finished yet. SA (although have been really good) have still only been going at a RR of 5 so a couple of wickets or good maiden overs and the momentum could completely change. Anything below 300 won't be completely safe either because we wont know the pitch conditions until both teams have batted"

NZ forever the optimists!

They play some good tunes between overs. Heard Zeppelin earlier and now some Deep Purple.

Edit: Phil Collins

Edit: bronski beat

Boult to Amla, no run, a slower ball, nearly in the blockhole at 110 kph, Amla digs it out towards the bowler
Roberto Mudslid: "This will be a tough chase for NZ today. This is what they need and will give Guptil a free licence. Form is temporary, Class is Permnent. 100 on the cards today."

End of over 43 (8 runs) South Africa 238/3 (RR: 5.53)

HM Amla 101 (128b 11x4 0x6)
JP Duminy 1 (1b 0x4 0x6)
TG Southee 9-1-47-1
TA Boult 8-0-42-0
42.6
Southee to Amla, 1 run, Amla makes a bit of room and drives a good length ball inside out in front of point
42.5
Southee to Duminy, 1 run, Duminy punches the length ball from his crease through point
42.4
Southee to Amla, 1 run, a hundred for Amla, New Zealand didn't attempt two catches off him and it has cost them. Amla gets to the landmark by driving the ball firmly through cover point
Duminy is the new batsman.
42.3
Southee to de Villiers, OUT, he's gone this time! AB was looking to smash the ball for a six over the leg side but got a top edge that went straight up in the air and fell into Ronchi's gloves. Tremendous breakthrough for Southee and New Zealand. That skier was swirling so Ronchi did well to judge it.

Was afraid of this. 2 new batsman in at the death. Momentum has shifted somewhat. Should have enough already though.
