South Africa 257/10 (49.4 ov) ... too much for Zim is my call.

Abbott and Parnell are going about this quite nicely. Last 5 ovs 32/0 RR 6.40. Not too bad :)
Must admit, I enjoyed that cameo. Maybe for ODis we should consider going back to the all rounder route. I.e. have a decent allrounder batting at 8 and 9.
I have always rated Parnell, barring his off field issues. He has time on his side to fulfill his potential.

No worries lads. At 27/3 it'll take an extra-ordinary performance from at least 3 of their batsmen to get them close.

Duminy to Taylor, OUT, he flung his head down in disappointment the minute he met the ball. Raced down the track and perhaps got a little too close to it. Goes for the loft and forces it with a lot of bottom hand... right down long-on's throat

BRM Taylor c Miller b Duminy 14 (28b 2x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Unfortunately for Zim, Taylor had to be one of those batsmen. GG.

Unless I am missing the point, Duminy shouldn't need to complete his quota. His economy rate is about 3 times that of the other 5 bowlers. Oh. Wait. They're keeping the batsmen interested :p

Simgwat: "As a zim supporter I would be giving Sean Williams the man of the match. His allround cricket has been fantastic! "

"If Sean falls, the wicket is in your hands Simgwat! Praise the bowlers not the batsmen, have you learnt nothing today?" Steven cries out in frustration.

McLaren to Williams, OUT, he's holed out to mid-off! Slaps his bat down on his pad as he walks off. It was a similar ball, but this time he goes full-on with the drive and offers a simple catch to Parnell. A brave fight, and the only one from Zimbabwe's batsmen comes to an end.

SC Williams c Parnell b McLaren 55 (84b 3x4 2x6) SR: 65.47

The perfect jinx! :D :p

Zimbabwe are now 114/7 and looking on a defeat worse than Sunday. Eish.

Top shelf performance from Shezi&Phangiso. Except of course the calls overflowing for average de Lange&Abbott to be in WC squad are missing where those former two impressive fellows are concerned. What a perfect world we live in!

"First time Kyle Abbott takes more than one wicket in an ODI innings!" screams the commentator.

At least his average and strike rate are approaching decency for now. He'd better enjoy playing against poor Zimbabwe. Aussies are joining the party next week.
