If we get a solid start and our middle order don't implode, we have a good chance of getting this.

We won't get this score
Pessimist or realist?

Faulkner for Lyon, and the Proteas are facing the same attack they chased down 328 against with over 3 overs to spare. Certainly could've been 360+.

Unless Nathan Lyon is worth 50 runs, the Proteas should be favourites.

Then again a part of me believes ZIM will beat the Proteas next time they meet then go on to settle scores in the final, so a Proteas win today would be helpful.

Yeah - we don't have the BMT to get this score with the Aussies coming from a recent loss. They are just too good for us.
South African cricket&rugby fans are polar opposites!

All Blacks thump Aussies while Boks labour and are mostly second best against mighty Argentina, but come Boks vs All Blacks, and that lot are convinced thye will crush the All Blacks - which hardly ever happens nonetheless.

I guess that's what happens after a decade of the lifeless pair of Graeme Smith as captain and Jacques Kallis as star of the team, it saps the life out of the fans, and the media blame some guy clalled "chocking" whoever that is.

Why cant Tahir play like this in test matches??

Tahir bowls exactly the same in Test matches. The only difference is that batsmen are not looking to play aggressively in Tests. So they just defend until the bad ball comes. He still bowls that one full toss/long hop an over in ODI's. His variation is what makes him a better ODI bowler because the batsmen never know what is coming. The variation doesn't help much in Tests.

1.4

Maxwell to de Kock, OUT, Maxwell has got the wicket, the prolific de Kock is gone for 1, he went for the slog sweep, a top edge sends the ball high up and not too far from the pitch, Steve Smith gets under it and pouches the skier

Q de Kock c Smith b Maxwell 1 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 20.00
