What is VERY evident from this series, is that Miller has no role to play int the side, He has to go ASAP.

I wonder who picked the team.

How the fsck do you leave Tahir out and play Parnell?

Best bowler out for worst bowler....

Slow turning pitch? No problem we will drop a spinner and include a seamer.

Tonight I shall go down on my knees and thank the Almighty that you haven't a snowball's chance in Khartoum that you will ever be a selector.

Concur. A very odd choice. Just recently they were singing his praises for his ability with the ball in this format. Thankfully that mistake will not cost us too much in this match.

Rossouw to Chigumbura, OUT, that's short, it's been pulled... right into the hands of deep midwicket. First ODI wicket for Rossouw and he's chuffed, considering the ball he bowled. Chigumbura though was livid, slammed the bat into the turf

E Chigumbura c Miller b Rossouw 13 (32m 32b 0x4 0x6) SR: 40.62

Turning out to be a good day for Rossouw.

Was it a prerequisite for Rilee Rossouw to score some runs before he is allowed to bowl?

Miller also have had alot of chances and only shown glimpses.
The time has come to relook what we expect from our nr 6. Our top 4 / 5 can take anyone apart should they be there in the end.
In my view, the nr 6 must be an accumulator that can bat at a run ball WITHOUT hitting 6s. Ala Jonty one can say. Hence, should he be required to bat in over nr 25. He can still score 70 / 80-odd in that time.

Who should it be? I am not sure.

Any idea what was going through the captain's mind when he put AB on to bowl?

What i find very interesting is that they will let AB and RR bowl, but Faf who is actually a part time leg spinner and a much better bowler than both of them, (who i would say is on par with Duminy), he gets no chance.

One day the top four spots in ODI batting rankings will be held by (in no particular order):

A B de Villiers, Q de Kock, H Amla, F du Plessis

You heard it here first :D.

70+ runs and no wicket in the first 10 overs means I'll be off to find something else more useful to do. Unless of course a young Herschelle Gibbs miraculously disguised as Miller will be in action later on.
