Death bowling still a big worry...

Once again it showed up. Needs serious attention before the world cup.

Yep! The stats would just say SA lost a one day test against the WI on 25/01/2015. Nothing else!

Numerologists will enjoy playing with those numbers.

My god, I just lol'd. Htf did we throw away this sitter of a game?

Given the number of changes, it was a game the Windies could have taken. But when you get the opposition into a place where you can put them away, you need to be ruthless. In today's game, we learnt that how loose bowling gives away runs, catches win matches and how vulnerable our death bowling is.

And Rossouw will soon be there as well.

Good knock by Miller.

1. Disagree
2. Agree

Does not say much about our depth does it?

The depth had the chance to win the game. Just not tight enough in the lines and length when it mattered.

22 extras including 14 wides is very disappointing.

That must really be worked on as it's really going to hurt against stronger opposition.

I turned this game off because I thought we had all but sealed the victory.

TBH I am as well. Differing opinions should be encouraged.
I will agree to the differing opinions and that it must be discouraged, but when you have to read through an opinion that is based purely on a racist agenda behind it, it causes tension that is not conducive to healthy debate. And unfortunately 90% of his posts was like that. TBH, if he is allowed back and refrain from that, I won't mind, otherwise good riddance.

Wacky views, yes. Race-specs, yes. Idiotic analysis, yes. Chip on shoulder, yes. But none of these are banworthy. It's a boring world where all opinions are the same.

Yep. His racist bias in sport stood out like a read herring.

Racist or racial? big difference. Quotas are a reality that many of us disagree with, but right now we have to live it. Discussing such issues makes many uncomfortable and emotional, but in amongst the waffle you do pick up on players and viewpoints we would not otherwise know about.

Surely you can influence his return on the provisio he behaves? Give it a try man! Many times a person get banned by virtue of the many RBP's received and not because of what he said in context of the thread.

In mine and others' opinions - racist. Racial is another point to debate and I doubt others would mind that.

Back to the cricket,
I think Abbot has had enough chances now, It saddens me to say, but the guy is simply not performing on this level.

RR is also starting to use up his chances, unfortunately we don’t have anyone better to replace him with. (Besides QDK), I have been saying from the start Test matches with suite RR better.
Glad to see Miller stepping up, he looks like a new batsman, I think AB is helping him a lot with his batting technique, and its showing.

The number 7 spot should really be McLaren’s, just a shame his ODI batting does not reflect his FC/List A average, at least you know he has the potential. On the other hand Farhaan is a brilliant fielder, much better than Mclaren in that regard, but one cannot be selected because of fielding alone.

Faf Inconsistent as ever, again we don’t have anyone better unfortunately, just wonder if the number 3 spot really suits him in ODI’s, Miller is doing better higher up the order and should be coming in at 4 or 5
1.Amla 2.QDK 3.De Villieris 4.Miller 5.JP 6.Faf 7.Mclaren 8.Wiese/Morris 9.Steyn 10.Morkel 11.Tahir

IMPORTANT!
If he opens threads with racist agendas, then those that want to engage in those threads can "enjoy" the "banter", but it must be kept away from the sport lovers' threads please! He really made the threads unpleasant.
