Thanks for the heads up.

Your welcome normal price of the tickets are R190 less the 30% is R133 a ticket. So you won't be in the bleachers. You can also purchase your tickets via Ticketpros, this will give a better variety to choose from. I'm taking my dad so he needs a bit of shade for the game and a chair to sit on. The tickets are most probably on one of the grand stands

I would've entertained that idea but for two reasons:

1. Thami has continued to play for and tour with the A side, which essentially means as in every other Full Member you are there in preparation for full national honours. Afterall, that's why Shezi, SvZ, Bavuma, Harmer, Rilee&Rabada are there or have been there lately.

2. Sports Admins are meant to be transparent. We've seen it with NZ, CA&the ECB. Are you trying to tell me that out of all the players CSA should secretive about details pertaining to Thami alone and it should be normal&acceptable for me&you to assume that it's due to some sound reason? What's so unique about him for them to adopt such a position regarding the specifics about his selection or contract?

Well, his contract has been revoked, so I assume they are not seriously consider him for top honours atm. I don't have access to the selectors inner source, so don't know their thought process, but it is clear that they don't consider him suitable for the team, for what ever reason.

When/if he is selected again, I will root for him just as hard. He is not in the team though, so I don't spend any further time thinking of him or anyone else that is not there. It is a waist of time. I rather savour the balls bowled, the runs scored, the wickets taken by the 11 selected.

It does not seem that you enjoy the cricket being dished up?
Why are you complaining?

Maybe find a team that suits your selection criteria? Then maybe you can start enjoying your cricket.
Your other option is to offer your expert cricket mind to CSA and join the selectors, as they clearly haven't got a clue what they are doing.

:)

Robbie Peterson is out (stitches on finger on bowling hand) - Imran Tahir has been recalled and will play.

I saw the reports as well. It indicated 30% chance of rain. Let's hold thumbs.

That weather report of MickeyD is likely to be closest to reality. Looks like the Norwegian weather service? Reputed to be one of the most accurate in the world :(

Such a pity.

Which app are you referring to?
Is it available for Android?

Duly noted. I have the same app. However it is the Norwegian weather service. Regardless, it remains frustrating that we'll not see full five days of cricket. St. George's deserves better.

Eish, saw dark clouds at the Water Front in Cape Town in a news story and the Cape Town weather usually finds its way to PE.
