Sunil Narine pulled out of the WI squad to work on his action. Methinks if the IPL riches were not inexistence, Narine would've taken a chance in the CWC. Of all the spinners affected I think he was the easiest to rehabilitate. I wouldn't put it past his IPL franchise's boss saying don't bowl, save yourself for the IPL in case you get called.

WI made only one injury enforced change. Our injury enforced change benefitted a non-CWC selected bowler.

Shakes Mashaba won a few soccer friendlies with players he was never going to select for AFCON. Heyneke has toured several times with players he is never going to take to the RWC. And Domingo has been selectign players he was never going to take there, and rested players who will play there. Everyone in Africa pretty much uses the English school system. We use the American system ... and mark it down. Disturbing trends. But some would argue there is method in the madness.

Nope check my quotes. I think I've gone as far as saying no one in the current side can much him in that regard. Mind you he's batted better in a few T20 innings before so I don;t question how destructive he can be. I just question his ability to sustain it. Rather justifiably too don;t you think?
